I started my journey at Corning Community College pursuing a degree in Engineering and realized very quickly that I wanted to solve problems and create. I was introduced to some prominent Architects of the past and present, which influenced my decision to get a BFA degree in Interior Architecture from Marywood University. I discovered the field of Kitchen Design / Space Planning in 1994 and from that point I have had the opportunity to work for and with some incredible people all over the country. With the variety of projects, positions, jobs, and experiences I have had which includes working at several cabinet showrooms, working in cabinets shops, installing cabinets, programming CNCs for cabinet cutting, being a board member of the NKBA Western NY chapter, and winning an NKBA design competition, I draw upon all of this to create enjoyable, professional experiences and processes for my team and our clients.

My love for all things design and decorating didn't really solidify until moving to our 1870 house in Corning, NY in 2005. I had been using my degree in Business, Economics, and Marketing while working in the music industry in Nashville, TN. The transition to my current career began rather organically as I began to restore our old house in a design sense and also in an actual hands-on way. Because of this, I approach design and decorating in a very purposeful manner that considers design elements along with practicality from a budget and process standpoint. I thoroughly enjoy project management and all aspects of the construction and design process.
My name is Madison but you can call me Madi. I am a recent graduate of Marywood University. I have a bachelors of Interior Architecture. Throughout my life I have always felt the need to help people and I also needed a creative outlet. When I discovered interior design I was instantly drawn to the idea of creating spaces for the client. I always design with the needs of the user in mind.

I studied Sustainable Design and Urban Planning in Copenhagen, Denmark and traveled extensively through Asia completing minors in Fashion Merchandising and Global Studies. Most recently, I managed and participated in all aspects of design construction and certification of a tiny house on wheels in which I live.
